Connect 4 Children's Ministry
Connect 4 Children's ministry exists to build a relationship between a child, Jesus, family, and the community. We strive to present a safe environment that engages children with creative Biblical teaching and interactive worship and allows them to learn the story of God and how He wants to be a part of their lives. Our goal is to not only teach them this story but also help reinforce the importance of the family in spiritual growth with tools that encourage family conversations. We plan to achieve this through curriculum-based teaching with fun and interactive activities to reinforce the lesson and age-appropriate worship on Sunday mornings. We also know that you the parent has the greatest opportunity to teach your child during the week at home. That is why we want to partner with you to provide opportunities for family discussion and activities that reinforce the monthly lesson.
Elementary Age
"252 Basics"
Our studies will focus on three basic truths: (1) wisdom - "I need to make the wise choice", (2) faith - "I can trust God no matter what," and (3) friendship - "I should treat others the way I want to be treated." Each month we will study one virtue based on one of these basic truths. Each week will incorporate a bible story as the basis for the virtue. There will be a small group time with a variety of fun & creative hands-on activities to reinforce the virtue & lesson. Kids will also experience a time of energetic worship.
Toddlers & Preschoolers
"My First Look"
Each week is full of wiggly activities, crafts kids can get into, music, fun, and play. Our goal is to help each child master one concept at a time by creatively repeating the Bottom Line in a way that it will stick. We want each child to know these three basic truths: God made me, God loves me, and Jesus wants to be my friend forever.
Each teaching session will have an activity to introduce kids to the day's topic, help them feel welcome, and feel comfortable in their classroom. They will each take part in a variety of crafts and activities to help them apply what they are learning. They will have a Bible study time so they can begin to understand and learn that they can talk to God at any time and in any place. Kids will be encouraged to openly communicate with God in their own words while developing their ability to know and worship God.We believe toddlers and preschoolers are wired to worship! So, each week we include a time of music and worship to encourage the children to openly express their love for who God is and to praise Him for all He has created.
